GoldenEye

Once the Jamaican home of renowned author Ian Fleming, GoldenEye was developed by Island Records founder, Chris Blackwell, and opened as a resort in 2011. Since then, the lush, 52-acre property has appeared in countless lifestyle magazines. Distinctive property features include private beaches, secret coves, a seawater lagoon and The Fleming Villa (where all 14 James Bond books were written). There are two restaurants (The Gazebo and Bizot Bar), a unique FieldSpa and accommodations that include one- and two-bedroom Beach and Lagoon Villas, Lagoon Cottages and an ocean front villa. In February 2016, Blackwell expanded his vision for GoldenEye with the addition of 26 Beach Huts, a seaside bar and rooftop terrace, pool area, snorkeling cove and bay-side beach, grill shack and drink stand. GoldenEye is located 20 minutes east of Ocho Rios. It’s 90-minutes by car from Montego Bay Airport and an eight-minute drive from Ian Fleming International (private aviation only).
